We have begun the design work for a new Headquarters facility for the Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative.

The Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC) is a not-for-profit electric utility located in the Shenandoah Valley.  Serving 90,000 member-owners, the co-op maintains over 7,600 miles of electrical lines in the counties of Augusta, Clarke, Frederick, Highland, Page, Rockingham, Shenandoah, and Warren in Virginia and the city of Winchester.

In 2016, the SVEC found the need to combine its outdated district office in Dayton with its corporate headquarters in Mt. Crawford.

We are now working as a Design-Build team with Harman Construction to design a new campus for SVEC. This new campus will consist of three main buildings.  A new Headquarters will be a three-story building and use a combination of stone, stucco, energy-efficient glass, and metal roofing. An associated warehouse and vehicle bays will utilize pre-engineered steel building systems. Lastly, a fleet maintenance and repair garage building, which will be LEED-certified, will complete the new campus.  The new Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative campus will sit just off Route 11 in Mount Crawford, Virginia.

We are honored to be designing The Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative New Headquarters.
