Project Info

This project involved the design and construction of a shelter and assessment center addition to the Shenandoah Valley Juvenile Detention Center.  This new addition has a secure connection to the larger facility, but itself a low security area where children can be sheltered, assessed for needs, and taught necessary life skills.  Contained in the project is a living skills/training room, clinic, office spaces, storage area, lobby and hallway to the dentention center.  The materials and architecture were designed to blend in with and compliment the existing facility.
